Questions
How much does Comp World cost?
A once-off $99 AUD per competition. There is no subscription and no ongoing fee, and you keep 100% of your spectator ticket sales. A small service fee is added to each competitor's registration and to each spectator ticket, and is paid by the buyer — not by you.
How do competitors enter?
They download the free Comp World app on iOS or Android, find your competition, and register and pay in a few taps. They upload their music, choose partners for duos and trios, and complete any entry tasks you set — all in the app.
How do payments and payouts work?
Payments are processed through Stripe. Connect your bank account once and entry fees are paid out to it directly, with total sales and financials shown in one place.
Can I stop someone entering the wrong section?
Yes, and that is the default. Each section carries its own entry type and age limits, and an entry that does not satisfy them cannot be submitted — so an age error is caught as it happens rather than on the day.
What happens when a section fills up?
Entrants join a waitlist rather than being turned away, and you accept from it when a place opens. Capacity is set per section, so one popular section filling does not close the rest.
When do registrations open and close?
You choose both. Competitors see the window on your competition, shown on their own clock rather than the venue’s, so they know exactly when to be ready — which matters when a popular competition fills in minutes.
